Sara and Stephen met at church. After being best friends for a year, they took a chance on their friendship to see if there was something more. There was and Stephen asked Sara to be his wife four years later! The two tied the knot this Saturday and became husband and wife. Here is a peek at their spring wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown, Texas.
I absolutely LOVED their wedding colors! The soft neutral color palette included mauve, blush, and sand bar! It was such a pretty combination, perfect for a spring wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown!
Once Sara was in her dress, she shared a first look with her brother.
Sara and Stephen opted for a first look. It’s a great opportunity to get some of those wedding day nerves out. It’s also the best chance to be alone on your wedding day and fully soak in the day!
You can see a bit of the storm clouds in the background of the image on the right below. It had rained most of the morning and was predicting to rain until that night. However, the rain cleared up just before the ceremony and we were able to get some sunshine portraits for them later in the day!
Another perk of doing a first look is that you can take bridal party and family photos before the ceremony! This means more time to party!
This next moment has my heart!! This is Sara’s grandmother who had just seen Sara for the first time on her wedding day! Those real smiles at each other and soft touch on the cheek say it all! Grandmas are the best!
This was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL plan B for Sara and Stephen’s spring wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown! They had originally planned to say their vows outside, but with the threat of rain (and rainy weather all morning), their ceremony was moved indoors. The draping florals and soft candlelight were absolutely perfect, though!
Sara walked down the stairs of The Milestone in Georgetown on the arm of her father.
I’m SO GLAD these two got some sunshine on their wedding day!
Sara and Stephen entered their mauve, blush, and gold wedding reception at The Milestone in Georgetown straight into their first dance.
I’m pretty sure Sara’s Maid of Honor is tearing up in this next shot, which is so sweet! Alissa and Sara have such a great friendship!
After the cake was cut, it was time for their special dances with their parents. Sara’s mom even had a special dance with her! During that song, they invited all the parents present to dance with their children. The sweets didn’t stop at the cake, either! They brought out mini desserts for their wedding guests once the party got started!
Sara and Stephen, thank you so much for inviting us to document your spring wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown! We absolutely loved spending the day with y’all and your sweet families! You two are so loved and that was very evident on your wedding day! Congratulations, again!
