I'm an Austin wedding photographer serving the Texas Hill Country. My hottie husband is my second shooter on wedding days, making us a husband and wife wedding photography team!
On our days off, we enjoy visiting old Texas dance halls, taking our Great Danes on trail walks, and finding new favorite brunch spots!
Dylan bought me a rose gold Michael Kors watch for our third wedding anniversary that I wear every chance I get! Oh yeah, and my Kendra Scott earrings are my go-tos!
My mom used to LOVE dressing all four of her daughters in matching outfits for just about everything.
Dylan and I met while studying abroad in Greece. We also got to visit Israel, Egypt, and Turkey while there, following the life of Christ and mission trips of Paul.
comes from above and I thank GOD for every blessing HE has put into my life.
Fur babies that is! We make sure to spoil our two Harlequin Great Danes, Lola Kate and Lucchese, as much as possible! They love apples, sweet potatoes, and doggie cakes!
BEFORE becoming a wedding photographer! Crazy, huh? I guess that's how I always know how to expect moments or know what's coming next.
We bought a fixer-upper that we've put blood, sweat, and tears into. Our favorite project thus far has been our penny-wall wine bar!
Mornings are not for me, but coffee helps!
The last count said our house has no less than 5 different methods for coffee making. We may have a slight coffee addiction. ;)
And usually gets it's way.
Seriously, I LOVE knowing the rest of the story, so if it has a prequel or sequel, I'm usually in!
Harry Potter marathon, anyone?
I wore cowboy boots under my wedding dress and photograph most weddings in boots.
Dylan's all-time favorite cocktail is a Bloody Mary. One of his life goals is to create the perfect Bloody Mary mix. His favorite is currently Ribeye by Bloody Revolution.
I love cinnamon, so Fireball Sangria is my favorite! Don't knock it until you try it! Think apples, oranges, and delicious cinnamon! It's perfect for fall and great served warm on cold days!
Dylan's running shoes are what you'll usually find him in. If we're going to church, out for date night, dancing, or to shoot a wedding, he'll be wearing his Lucchese boots. (Yes, we named our puppy after a boot company.)
I'm usually barefoot. If I have to wear shoes, I'll probably grab my Chaco's. Yes, the summer tan line is a real thing. I dream of wearing cute heels, but walk like a baby giraffe if I do.
Dylan takes his coffee black. No cream. No sugar.
He can also drink pots, yes, plural, of coffee by himself daily.
My favorite order at Starbucks is a dirty chai tea latte with vanilla.
(Dirty just means with a shot of espresso, mom.)
If I had to compare Dylan to any TV personality or character, it would be Chip Gaines, 100%! Dylan really has that goofball sense of humor, but can get things DONE!
When we started watching "New Girl" on Netflix, Dylan kept saying "that's so you" when Jess would do certain things. You'll have to ask him to expand on why, though...
Dylan's favorite past time is swimming. If he could be a fish, he probably would be. He is scuba-certified and lives by the pool (or river or beach) during the Summer.
When I have down time, I'll probably grab a book and curl up in the hammock with a cup of coffee. I do find business books interesting, but I also love anything that has a sense of magic or royalty in it.

Dylan's favorite part of the wedding day is the first look. He's great at candids, as he would rather be a fly on the wall and photograph things as they happen.
The first look is awesome! I also really love directing romantic portraits. I may tear up during the father daughter dance and I'll definitely catch the moment your flower girl looks at you like you're a princess!

I'd love to meet up with you and your fiance over a cup of coffee (or sangria) to discuss your love story and wedding vision! If we can, let's set a date! If you're outside of the Austin-area, we can always allow the interwebs to connect us.
